Why Over-Controlled Systems Fail

Human override + audit. Every AI “block” should include a way to escalate, plus a logged reason code for traceability. This keeps regulators satisfied while giving employees a safety valve.


Guardrail prompts + policies. AI follows instructions. Well-designed prompts, fallback behaviors, and scope definitions align the system with your company’s culture and appetite for risk.


Cross-functional design.AI governance is a team sport. Product, legal, operations, data, and security all need a voice. When one group dominates, the system skews. That’s how you end up with compliance-driven AI that requires coffee NDAs.
